NEW BLOOD

The band would like to welcome Daniel Silvestri to the family! Daniel will be taking on lead guitar/vocal duties following Aidan's departure from the band earlier in the year.

The album is near completion and we'll have some special shows to announce very soon.

UPCOMING SHOWS... WAM... VOW

The Isles hit the Rosemount Hotel on May 15th in support of Bat Country as they launch their new album "Miguel and the Milkworm". Also on the bill are Modular man and Injured Ninja. It should be a great show and the first for quite some time at the Rosemount for The Autumn Isles, we look forward to seeing you there.

WAMI Festival 2010

Well it is that time of year again, WAMI Festival time. The Autumn Isles will be joining a great list of bands for the Saturday Spectacular on 22nd May - Northbridge Piazza (cnr Lake/James) the band will be playing from 3pm, check WAM website for details. 

The Isles are also pleased to announce that single -  "Sun Soaked Horizon", has been included on the KIss My Wami 2010 compilation

VOW Launch - Artists For Education

Local musicians launch collaborative effort to assist WA kids in need with a double stage, all day showcase. Artists for Education will be launched on the 30th of May at Fremantle’s Railway Hotel, running from noon to 10pm.

This event is run by volunteers, supported by the John Curtin Leadership Academy, and featuring exclusively local performers and artists. All proceeds go to WA children in need. This is a family event. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Entry is $25 on the door, and includes theArtist for Education CD, a free drink and access to all the acts, events and galleries. Artists forEducation support responsible drinking. VOW is an entirely volunteer run organisation, If you are inerested and would like to know more about VOW check out the website

LOFT SHOW & NEW SINGLE

The Autumn Isles have launched their new single Sun Soaked Horizon, you can hear the song in it's entirety on the bands myspace - http://www.myspace.com/theautumnisles

The band will be playing at Little Creatures Loft this coming Friday on November 27th.  Joining them will be 6's & 7's and Tracey Read.

Following that, the band will be appearing at the Newport Hotel on December 6th supporting Bennie James from NSW.

NEW KEYBOARD PLAYER

The Autumn Isles have lost Hayat Feghaly to the throws of Melbourne city.  We have however found our replacement in Tenille Bamford.  You can catch our first show with Tenille at the Tracksuit EP Launch on Saturday 3rd October at the Rocket Room!

VELVET LOUNGE RESIDENCY

The Autumn Isles will be undertaking a residency at the Velvet Lounge (639 Beaufort St, Mt Lawley - next door to the Scotsman) every Thursday night in May. The band have new songs to try out from their forth coming album, as well as a few surprise covers especially for these dates. There are a heap of great supports lined up, entry is only $5!

OKKERVIL RIVER SUPPORT

The Autumn Isles are very happy to announce that they will be the local support for Texas band Okkervil River here in Perth. Okkervil River are touring their 2008 album "The Stand Ins". The show takes place on Tuesday May 5th at Club Capitol, tickets are $40 + bf and can be purchased online from Moshtix and the usual outlets. Be sure not to miss this very special show.

SOUTHBOUND FESTIVAL

THe Autumn Isles are gearing up to the play the Southbound Festival in Busselton on the 2nd January. The Isles will hit the stage at approximately 1.30pm. Also playing are many other bands including Franz Ferdinand, The Hives, The Kooks plus more.

NYE NORTHBRIDGE CELEBRATIONS

The Autumn Isles will play a special New Year's Eve show on James Street in Northbridge. The event is organised by Artrage and will consist of live bands on three separate stages across Northbridge between 8pm and 12pm. The Autumn Isles will be playing at approximately 10:30pm to 11:15pm. Other acts are TBA.

NATIONAL MUSICOZ AWARDS FINALISTS 2008

MusicOz today announced the Top 10 Musicoz Category Finalists for 2008 and The Autumn Isles have been selected as a finalist in the Alternative category. Known in the media as the 'unsigned ARIA's, MusicOz receives over 5000 entrants each year, so it is a great honour to be selected as a finalist.

THE AUTUMN ISLES RETURN FROM SUCCESSFUL TOUR

In late October/early November The Autumn Isles played their inaugural East Coast Tour with shows played in Melbourne and Sydney. Overall it was a great success for a maiden voyage. The Autumn Isles would like to thank everyone that made it to a show and to all the great bands that joined us. We had a great time and look forward to heading back in 2009. WIRELESS BOLLINGER MELBOURNE SHOW

The Isles have just returned from playing the East Brunswick Club in Melbourne, as part of Wireless Bollinger.com's '10 bands to watch' showcase. The Isles would like to thank the organisers and the other bands on the bill for a great show! The Autumn Isles return to Melbourne on October 30th to play at the Toff in Town with friends Institut Polaire, and playing at the Tote with a great line up of indie bands. The Isles then travel up to Sydney to play the Spectrum with Des Miller and Fergus Brown.
